The programme was held at theShaheed Suhrawardy National Indoor Stadium and this 16th ceremony was named as `saluting the nation builders of tomorrow`.
Ayesha Abrar Nawshin got the country highest mark in O-level Turkish and Shamveel Ahammed got the country highest in A-level Further Pure Mathematics from International Turkish Hope School. ITHS lived the honour of 32 O-level students and 8 A-level students celebrated in the ceremony

The chief guest, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahidexpressed his feelings of proud for this excellent environment and regarded the highest achievers as the leaders of the world. He also stressed the importance of a nation having individuals imbued with morality, honesty and love of country.
Ace all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was the most spectacular surprise of the event. The thrill and energy occurred in the stadium was glamorous. He said that ``we need to improve and do well in all fields of education. ``and shared his school memories with the students.
The Daily Star MahfuzAnam mentioned vigorously about the values which should be inculcated by the parents such as tolerance, democracy, eagerness to serve the country. The students were urged to turn to their homelands after completion of their education abroad.
Robert Winnington Gibson, the British High Commissioner to Bangladesh, was the special guest of the programme and he assured the students that summer sessions of the examinations will take place in Bangladesh. "They will not take place overseas. They will take place here," he said repeatedly.
Syed Mahbubur Rahman, managing director and CEO of Brac Bank Ltd, Simon Young, regional director of Pearson Edexcel Asia, Prof Sadequr Rahman, school of science, Monash University Malaysia, Prof M Omar Rahman, vice-chancellor of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB),and Sandeep Gupta, general manager of Microsoft Mobile Devices and Services, also spoke at the programme.
