Making their way through the huge number of secondary and higher secondary students participating in the 6th Biochemistry Olympiad, participants from International Turkish Hope School once again proved the glaring potential of their school by securing the 1st position in the SSC/IGCSE’ Level category in the Olympiad and has received THE BEST SCHOOL AWARD.
The competition was held on 20th March 2015 and attracted more than 500 talented students from different reputed schools from Dhaka and other districts.
In addition to the best institution award, one of the ITHS students, Abrar Rahman stood as the 2nd runner up in the International GCSE Level, in individual Category.
Dhaka University’s Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department organized the daylong function at Curzon Hall premises in order to encourage students to study biochemistry in future and conduct researches in the field. The function featured inauguration program, quiz test, poster exhibition, interaction sessions and prize distributing ceremony.
Right after a scintillating performance in their International GCSE and A’ Level examinations in the May/June 2014 session, this outstanding achievement in the 6th Biochemistry Olympiad certainly makes the school proud of its’ students.
